Cloudflare Outage: What’s Happening, and Why You May Not Be Able to Log Into AlgoBuilderX

Matteo Avatar

Cloudflare — one of the biggest internet infrastructure providers in the world — is currently experiencing a major incident affecting large parts of its global network.

Thousands of websites, dashboards, APIs, and authentication systems are reporting errors, timeouts, or complete unavailability.
And yes: AlgoBuilderX is also temporarily affected, specifically during the login phase, because our authentication layer uses Cloudflare’s protection gateway — which is currently down.

Here’s a clear and accurate breakdown of the situation.

What’s Happening With Cloudflare Right Now

Cloudflare has confirmed a widespread issue involving:

  • Service degradation on core routing systems
  • Failures in their WAF / bot-protection layer
  • Dashboard and API timeouts
  • Traffic overload on multiple edge locations

This is causing:

  • Error 502 / 500 / 521 on various websites
  • Login or authentication screens not loading
  • Pages stuck on “verifying browser”
  • Entire services temporarily unreachable

Because Cloudflare sits between users and countless web applications, when it goes down, a huge portion of the internet becomes unstable.

Why AlgoBuilderX Is Temporarily Impacted

AlgoBuilderX uses Cloudflare for:

  • DNS resolution
  • Security protection
  • Traffic filtering
  • Authentication challenge (the “browser check” step)

Right now, that specific challenge step is failing globally.
This means:

You may not be able to log in even though the ABX platform itself is up and running.

Nothing inside AlgoBuilderX is broken.
The outage is external — and affects thousands of sites using the same security gateway.

This is the equivalent of the “front door” being temporarily locked, even if the entire building behind it is fully operational.

What You Can Expect in the Next Hours

Based on previous Cloudflare outages:

  • Services usually start recovering within 1–3 hours
  • The authentication lockouts are typically the last part to recover
  • No data is at risk
  • No platform logic or user projects are affected

As soon as Cloudflare restores normal routing, all users will be able to log in normally.

In the meantime, the ABX team is monitoring the incident closely and will update users through Discord.

Does This Outage Affect Running Bots on cTrader?

No.

cTrader bots you already exported and are running locally or in cTrader Cloud are not affected at all.

The outage only impacts the login process to AlgoBuilderX’s web editor, not your exported cBots, not your strategies, and not your trading operations.

This is an inconvenience — not a threat to your automations.

Why This Matters for Traders and Developers

Events like this highlight an important truth:

Even the strongest infrastructure providers can experience downtime.

This isn’t about AlgoBuilderX, TradingView, MetaTrader, or any platform.
It’s about how deeply the modern internet relies on a few large networks.

Cloudflare is used by:

  • Exchanges
  • Fintech services
  • Brokers
  • SaaS platforms
  • Analytics dashboards
  • Authentication systems

When it goes down, the effects are widespread and nobody is immune.

What matters is responding transparently and ensuring users understand what’s happening.

AlgoBuilderX’s Position

Our platform remains stable internally.
Your strategies, builder projects, and bot exports are all safe.

The temporary login problems are caused entirely by Cloudflare’s outage, and recovery is expected soon.

We will notify users on Discord as soon as:

  • login is fully restored
  • Cloudflare confirms resolution
  • normal traffic conditions return

Final Thoughts

Cloudflare’s outage is a reminder of how interconnected the modern web is.
Today it’s Cloudflare; tomorrow it could be AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OVH, or any other backbone provider.

The important point is that:

  • no data is lost,
  • no strategies are affected,
  • no running bot is impacted,
  • and the ABX platform itself remains stable.

As soon as Cloudflare resolves the issue, AlgoBuilderX logins will return to normal.
